Alexa Lima has been studying piano since the age of six under the Royal Conservatory of Music based out of Canada, under the instruction of Alvin Masters. Before attending college, she branched out from the classical genre and began her studies in jazz under the instruction of Professor David Marcus. After earning a merit World Scholarship from Berklee College of Music, she received a B.A. in Film Scoring and began her career as a pianist/composer working with various vocalists, artists, and producers.

Over the past seven years, Alexa has been teaching a multitude of students ranging from 4 years to 51 years young with a vast range of musical backgrounds and skill sets. By focusing on how they relate to the instrument, Alexa also nurtures an honest interest and budding passion within her students to ensure a lifetime of musical enjoyment.

Currently, she is working on film scores, playing shows with bands around Atlanta, and expressing herself creatively whenever she gets the chance.
